| So I checked out some of your old stuff on DeviantArt. Then I was like "Hell yeah". Then I subscribed to/watched ya. (Account: "Rioshu") Glad you're here. I'm sure that you know about your limitations as an animator, and through some of your animations, I think I have a somewhat vague idea of your skill range. I like your style and the content of your animations. I hope that you stay in the to-be empire of Psuda and hone your skills to the realms of divinity...if that strength is what you desire. Also, the fact that Trenton appears in more than one medium increases the awesomeness of the concept behind this animation. I bet it was quite the sight to see him moving and breathing. Before a cluster of words are given that detail the how-to's of improving this, I'd like to know what you want this animation to look like. What did you envision? | |

| Thank you for taking your time to reply . What I originally planned was a fighting stance . Pretty much like a neutral sprite for a fighting game. Something like a Bruce Lee-ish kinda thing . Just moving around in the same position . I didn't know how fullbody animations were made , so the process is pretty much catastrophic . And the result doesn't come out as planned. All the body parts were separated , and animated individually . face, hair , cap thing , ears ,arms , tail ,and the rest of the body + legs . | |

| So much anime shit, but what can one expect from an art and animation realm?! Your doodle dump is anything but a dump, imo. really nice, artistic style. You know how to use that brush Yeesh, it makes me want to draw and animate. Lovely, clean idle animation. The problem with it is there's a little wobbliness in the lines and size of things like the hat, but it's not very distracting. As for the motion; it's a mess. You created no rough foundation for the motion and everything is gliding in its own direction like the goo in a lava lamp. You went like... You see, when you create the rough base and animate its motions, then you can attach the rest of the loose details that have their own easing and timing. Sometimes really experienced people can draw the whole thing at once, and because they understand animation so well, they can draw every loose limb as they do the rough body, and the way they position the limbs in the poses makes it almost seem like the limbs aren't timed with the rest of the body (even though they are!)
RUN-ON SENTENCE AL3RTOne more thing. And this is a big one... I see your animation looks like easytoon yet you have things colored in like ms paint... WHAT PROGRAM ISH THISH!?!?!? I MUSHT HAFF IT

| ^ agreed above
On his DeviantArt he mentioned that he used a certain .gif editor in conjunction with Easytoon. Perhaps this may be it. Mheheheheh...
puinkey, the rough animation method is quite effective. Very effective. This is why a vast majority of serious animators use it.
Check out and analyze some sprites from some 2D fighters. I recommend Ryu or Ken from "Street Fighter III 3rd Strike: Fight for the Future" idle stances. Their stance is similar to yours and done with decades of win (it still looks pwnage after more than a decade of being released). | |

| I'll agree with the street fighter remark... damn those things are well animated. I might settle for this gif editor + easytoon combo as one of my regular programs... Oh, and it seems I was giving advice on one thing and half way through, I drew a different diagram. Edited. | |
