| I'm thinking that the ink spots remind me of an ancestral swordsman that reigned back in the days when the scroll was the new envelope. For me, the ink spots are the main source of the image's overall feel. They are nice-looking. | |

| @Hitorio I totally agree, my favourite thing about it is the inkiness. @ OP [G-war] I'm impressed dude, really I underestimated you! Very pro manga looking with it's own authentic style. Eye trails were a nice touch. Gives a lot of movement to the picture, but doesn't clash with the ink spots that are almost like a frame outline. IMPORTANT TIP GUYS!!! always ALWAYS do what G-war did in this picture [experiment!!!] Never keep yourself in your comfort zone; there's virtually NO growth there. You have to KEEP trying something new in each drawing, be it a new style, or simply developing a style you're already trying. That's how you learn fast. | |

| It honestly does.
I promise you that's what all the 'talented' artists do. It's not talent. It's them pushing themselves until they get better than they ever thought they could.
It separates the terkoiz from the common darkdemon noob.

| *Has just checked out darkdemon*
Ok. Agreed. I do think that it does take some amount of mental talent, though. It does make a difference. Not everyone improves at the same pace.
