Keep in mind though that every running step means he is not only moving forward, but also upwards slightly, which now isn't in this animation. his head stays at the same height throughout the entire cycle.
change that, and the denting head, and you got yourself a pretty neat run cycle!

spidermans legs are always bent his run cycle wouldnt be exactly the saem as a normal runcycle i think his head would move a little more but it wouldnt move that much

My gawd; animating a swing scene through the city from Spidey's POV would be an absolute monster to fight using 2D techs.
