Well, I don't see any reason why you can't openly show your progress
In fact, maybe we shouldn't be too caught up in the competition and mystery, since we're all participating in making a complete film, and that's new to nearly all of us. We can't forget the part where we learn and share.

Learning and sharing is the shit, Mr. 'Rem. But-- I'd rather let the cannon charge up to its max power and experience it full blast rather than in weaker small pieces. The enjoyment factor -- not throwing that away. I'm into releasing behind-the-scenes after the credits roll.

I don't agree that it's better to stay unrevealed until the end, but it's all fine and well if you do so, because there's still going to be plenty of progress sharing as it is.
Of course I'll say it would've been cool if you chose to, just saying.

I never thought that it was better to wait until the end to release. It's just the way that I'd rather do mine.
I'll release some screenies during clean-up in a few months, I s'pose.

Well personally i just see this as a friendly competition since there's no "real" prize aside from the pride of defeating your opponent
