| Its almost done . Not really much to say about it. We had 11 people but 5 of them didnt want to do any work so we fired them .l I guess thats how you say it. We have 5 animators and 1 inker. I also did some bgs for the project. Its going to be short thou since we wasted months . Not much was getting done until like the last minute. So it might be like 6 mins max. The ending credits are 2mins by itself . I guess I can show you guys some scenes that I made that havent been released yet. The animation is low budget as in we did not use alot of frames. So expect a ton of loops . Anime is a ton of loops most of the time anyways except for sakuga scenes of course. These are a few of my scenes. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EkM8uaWMyZwhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qKoQ-WB45bEhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eaWJEAcONJ8 |

| yes I do have a tablet. I use it for inking my frames in retas paint or photoshop. I also use my tablet for painting in photoshop. I have tried animating straight to the computer but it just doesnt work for me . I will stick with paper as long as I can . |

| Do you use reference material in order to animate these?
Do you guys trace stuff from the manga/ anime? I assume you use the color picker and pick from stills from the anime to get the right color.
I also see you draw them traditionally, do you scan them in or take pics of the drawings? and how do you line them up to stop the animation from being wobbly?

| yes I used the manga panels from the chapter as reference. Its naruto shippuden chapters 496-500 . We trace some manga panels sometimes and use them as stills. Also we do use the color picker in photoshop for picking colors. The drawings are scanned and I use a peg bar to align my frames on paper. |

| Did you trace the manga panels in order to get a base? I've noticed that a lot of your Fanimation project consists of people animating stills with tweens. It seems your group of animators lack actual animating experience, and only knows how to draw nice drawings. It seems a lot of the trailer is referenced heavily- or even traced from the original, which is quite a let-down to me personally. | |

| Your right about the animation experience. We have 6 people. Not everyone on our team is at the same level. The best animator in our team is ssscybro2 he quit and went on haitus cuz he wanted to practice more also he is terrible at drawing faces but he is super at drawing bodies .He is also really good at animals. il post some of his stuff. The only traced parts are the stills.I used alot of reference cuz I wanted to stay true to the manga. Also its low budget in most parts so your going to see loops. For my scenes I referenced the panel and made it a key then I created the other keys myself.I wouldnt say its just tweening lol. This project could have been way bigger and better if ssscybro would have released stuff. He never released one scene cuz I guess he couldnt draw the faces so he just didnt finish it.He also got to meet glen keane a while ago. Thats what inspired him to animate. I dont want to scrap the project even thou its really low budget. I just want to finish it and move on. Anyways here are some ssscybro animations. I made the ending credits of the project with all the scenes that he scraped. I think it came out pretty cool. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BQ1u8DPB3HQ |

Epic shiz! Also, there's some nice stuff in that youtube vid, but some stuff seems traced or HEAVILY referenced though.. I guess I will always look for those 2 things when it comes to fanimation..

| yeah the traced stuff from the manga is bound to happen. Cuz we dont want to redraw a still panel lol. So we just trace it. |

| You are a traditional animator and want to become good enough to create your own anime? 2) Where in the world do you live? 1) How old are you? That determines the manner/rate at which you should train.
I recommend digital animation if you want to improve your ass off. There is much training to be had for you and we can't help as strongly while you're using paper and pegs. My suggestion is that, despite digital animation "not working for [you]," to strike hard until it does. If you are absolutely determined to stay with paper, I'll try to suggest very general-but-helpful methods of improvement. If you want to make an anime, you need to build skill at a high rate and not be content with animating stiff loops with limited movement.
My first piece of advice for you = animate more cuts that emphasize char movement...you know - Sakuga-type shit, not Pierrot-type shit.

| Hitorio, why do you want him to change to digital animation? being a better animator means animating differently. The principles of animation apply to every type of animation, whether it be traditional, stop motion, pixillation, 3d or digital 2d animation.
I agree with you on the fact that animevynil needs to lose the stiff loops and limited movement type animation in order to become a better animator. I think I've pointed out before that that type of animation is exactly why I generally dislike fanimation.
There's a general lack of skill amongst fanimators when it comes to the actual animation aspect of what they're doing.
Having the drawing skill, however, is a big plus, so use that to your advantage animevynil! check out the other threads on psuda such as the ultimate resource index in the artistic discussion section, there's a lot of good stuff to be found on Psuda!

...yeah... I recommended digital simply because it'd be possible to improve more rapidly. It is, after all, on an entirely new level of efficiency than traditional. You mentioned principles. Cool. I speak of the training that makes our generation so strong in the animation department. I'm basically suggesting (key word: suggesting) that he switch from pushups to bench pressing. Vinyl - if you feel that you can train like a beast with paper and pegs, I wanna see that. Movement and improvement. *slaps ass like athlete*
