I'm having so much fun with this sketchy style of drawing as messy as I want, then just fading the sketch out and drawing over it in dark, less messy (but still messy) sketching (rinse, repeat). I like it a lot because it builds understanding of proportions and shapes. Plus it's hella fun. Who says you can't draw 5 rough drafts of the same sketch before it becomes clean? (Not that the above drawings are clean...) Forest fire. - Spoiler:
