It dosnt really matter i like flash 8 and flash cs3 best but i currently am useing flash cs5 xD only difference for cs4-cs5 compared to cs3-flash 8 is rightclick>smooth wich i used to use a littel to avoid stiffness but its better to break lazy habbits like that

Hiya zero. If you have flash cs3 you'll be fine. If you have flash 8 you'll be even more fine.
But if you actually wanna do actionscript programming with actionscript 3.0, just make sure you have at least flash cs3 or higher.
