Battle season, info here!

oh edyrem. you never really see touma's character's fingers in any of the closeups, so for far away shots im doing thumbs and a mitten-like shape for hands. and my character doesnt even have hands

once i finish coloring and shading the first frame ill upload a screenshot of THE FIRST FRAME

I tried a different style of anatomy for this frame, and it didnt turn out quite how i wanted it to... so the anatomy isnt as bad as it is in the screenshot >.> made yamato look like a girl haha

Touma, he means that if someone here that is a part of the tournament uses a copied animation that doesnt belong to that animator, either traced or downright copy pasted, that person will be disqualified from the tournament.

oh yeah makes sense just like people on youtube who download your anim and upload them to there acc.

edyrem i noticed that, i was going for this pose phil did once when i was watching him animate... it doesn't work so well with FB ;-; aaanyway, do you recommend animating more roughs, or drawing over the roughs i have so far and THEN animating more roughs?

Rough everything, for the most part. Feel free to clean some things whenever you want though.

ohhh... alright... cause usually i do like 20 seconds of roughs, draw the finished product over them, and then lose inspiration

YEah then focus on the roughs... better save the cleaning for later.

Yes I agree, seeing a partially finished animation makes you realize how much work you still have left on rough animation, which works demotivational. Roughs first, cleanup later.

by the way does anyone know if they can help me with lip syncing i am having trouble with it.

Touma i saw some tutorial on newgrounds that helped me alot. it showed shapes for the mouth depending on what sounds are being made.... like pursed lips for "oo" .. try searching lip sync on newgrounds.

Do my Skeletons look fat to you?

either slightlychubby, or really buff. also their legs seem a little short... makes them look kinda like chibis, or children.

EDIT: i decided to try a new more touma-ish style of skeletons, so i decided to test it with a little project ive been thinking about.

Touma, if you lack inspiration, google and YouTube your ass off in order to find good reference material if you desperately want to animate.
Also, don't feel bad about just relaxing and doing other, non-animation-related, stuff.
