| The one with the red really had a tiny waist, didn't it You did good with the emotions, though, I could kind of tell how each one felt. That one with the disappearing bags felt alone and depressed, another felt excited and confident. If you were to try again, I would say try to give it more body language without the little corners giving so much away. Great job, though. You did it right. | |

| You should always try to improve on what you've created with these excercises. That's what they're here for!
Some emotions were unclear to me, to be honest. Oftentimes I could slightly see what it should be like, but somehow it didn't come across quite clearly. Edyrem stated you can't use the tips of the flour sack as limbs but I don't mind as long as they don't take over as the leading way to show emotion. You can use them to give it just that little extra bit of clarity to completely show the emotion, but not by ONLY using those.
I think a good advice to give is to be overly dramatic with the movements. If your flour sack is sad, make it look like it's close to suicide. Basically, exaggerate everything. Also, try and act out all the movements with your own body, to understand the movements and where the emphasis lies to make it look better and easier to read. With animation, YOU are the actor, and the animated character is an extension of yourself, not a separate being.

| Guys come on, where are your sandbag animations!? There were like at least 6 people in this when we started.
Hurry up, animate. We want to actually move on to the next exercise. Do you guys not care about being better animators? This is real training right here. Get the fuck in it.

| I agree with Edyrem on this one, guys. I have been purposely waiting to put up mine because I expected you guys to have a go first!
I don't understand how 6 people VOTED for a new excercise, and when I hand you the requested excercise, nothing happens! What is the cause of this? Is the excercise too hard to pull off? do you want to do something a little less complicated first?
If you can provide feedback I can change or improve the project!
In the meantime, have a go at this excercise and hand in whatever you have, even if it's unfinished or below your quality standards. We're here to learn, not to only show the best that we can do!

| The idea of just a bag sounds boring, but the purpose is to flex your imagination with something that's otherwise dull, and make it something enchanted purely by your artistic imagination.
That's what ANIMATING is. So draw it, guys.
In fact, I'll make it easier for you: Animate an angry bag.

| Apparantly nobody is interested in this excercise so I'm going to leave it up to you guys what you WOULD like to learn. Provide me with ideas and information on what you like to do. Talk to me on MSN, tomvanharmelen@hotmail.com or post a reply here in this thread in order for us to continue with this project, as it DOES HAVE POTENTIAL AND USE. | |

| I decided not to tell you upfront what other options you have from my perspective.
I'm going to let you and other Psudans tell Me what YOU want to learn. Based on that information, I can provide you with better excercises.

| It doesn't sound stupid, but I think we'll have to start a second excercise project to focus on drawing. I want this project to revolve around animation alone. So if you have any animation related ideas for excercises, let me know | |

| Maybe something simple with an intricate background we cant just have vivid characters built up for them to only stand on white canvas if we draw great characters they deserve a better environment | |

| Good try, but you sure showed some limitation in your 3d perspective skilluzzzz Def'nitly wanna work on that. Also, since you're probably gonna re-do it, do it with springs, levers and other machinery to make the ball move around. I guess I'll have to make my own entry of this exercise to show what I mean, eh? hahaha | |

| Hmm.. Options: A. Explain how this animation is bull because you don't care about this shitty exercise, and can do ALOT better in 3d if it mattered.
B. Bite your tongue and act like you give a fuck about this exercise, and you tried you best.
C. say idgaf and watch porn.
D. Edyrem is an alpha gentleman and I would suck his penor so much.

| I think we can confidently write this exercise down as "paused" while we're doing these battles. | |
