Here's a collection of older pieces that you can see in chronological order of my journey in FB animation so far with a description of each to show the processes I went through.
http://steez10.deviantart.com/gallery/#/d3c5wc7^not really an animation so I wouldn't count this as my first fullbody animation test, but this character design turned out to be pretty helpful in practicing some techniques on bitmaps, backgrounds and loops that i'd never used before, and now I use them quite often, so I guess it was worth making.
http://steez10.deviantart.com/gallery/#/d3fc0r1^This is my first real fullbody animation that I actually applied some methods to by using a line stick figure and then drawing the final drawings over it.
http://steez10.deviantart.com/gallery/#/d3h5l9o^I already posted this in my introduction post, but what I did with this one was I used the same methods i did with my first fullbody test and just did a fighting stick figure then did the final drawings.
http://www.fileize.com/view/04438cba-0de/^I'd say this is the test that just about changed everything in my animating methods. I wanted to change my style of drawing before I got stuck in that sandbox of kiddy styled cartoon animation, as well as try out the methods used by animators I look up to now. With this, instead of using a stick figure as a base line, I tried adding shapes to sort of shape the anatomy. I also used the in-between method for the first time.
http://www.fileize.com/view/7930bd19-128/^ This was a cool idea I wanted to try out after learning a little about two-point perspective.
http://www.fileize.com/view/f2b56242-bd9/^ Another I already posted in my introduction post. Anyways, in this one I just wanted to get used to the methods I learned in my past tests and still work on getting a better result. Although it got a bit tedious and so I think you can tell that I rushed the frames on the first character's face so they turned out a bit choppy. I got the idea because I wanted to try out 3-d looking backgrounds and I learned some sweet techniques in editing bitmap images using not only flash but also fireworks.
http://www.fileize.com/view/a90b9c9c-f74/^ This was a huge advance forward in animation to me because I learned what It takes to go through the production process of a traditional animator, as well as the other jobs it takes to make a cleaned up animation piece. I also learned a lot about what exactly flash can handle in terms of filters and heavy uses of lines, which is a good piece of knowledge for future anims.
Well that's about all I have from the past that's worth showing. I hope this shows you the journey I've been on so far in animation and hopefully will inspire other young animator's minds.
