You got it right; I meant the part of the animation that you worked the hardest on/put more time into. So they were the movements, eh?

I like 'em, for the most part! You did good jobs on things like window opening, the walk to the window, the action. But--! However good the movement, what you're moving are blobs without anatomic solidity. If you ever want to clean up an animation like in your second animation of this thread, you must beat it into yourself. Actually train it. You know, drawing skill and animation skill are pretty firmly connected. If you train your drawing skills (such as developing your "visual intelligence" and learning to consistently draw the same thing from varying angles; learning how anatomy contributes to movement) and move away from the animation canvas for a while, you will come back generally stronger.

Main Point: You are animating blobs.

Solution: Sharpen those human body skills. Learn how to draw roughs in a manner that will be efficient to clean for you.

Result: Yo ass gon' get beast.

yeah i could never get to figure myself to learn how to draw but i'll definitly try it out again.
my main focus for now its getting movements right and afterwards the drawing but maybe i should turn it vice versa maybe it'll work.

Touma, did you animate that dag uit mijn leven thing for the WDKA? Looks pretty good although i recognise some dbz referenced animation. Looks like you need to work on drawing anatomy right now in order to get drawing and animation skill on the same level!

I asctually went to mediacollege, or rather, I studied at GLA for 1 year when that building stopped being used and they switched to that new place you're in right now.

Are there any specific assignments you have to finish that are animation related ?

well the teacher wants to see this anim cleaned but i said it would take me to long.
but now we have a stop motion assignment wich we can only do at school.

exactly what is the name of your study? I did a mix of graphics and multimedia design but nothing that was targeted towards animation like it seems you are doing..

well for now its only 2d and 3d wich makes 2d flash and 3d 3dsmax and adobe after effects

And honestly, getting the hang of tvpaint, I'm starting to pity all the institutions making flash the standard program. I'm happy for tom that his school is going to use tvpaint.

no its a different class and none of them except for me are into animating actually wich sucks for me.
i do have 1 girl in my class wich did gameartist before so she's the only one that can draw pretty good.

i dont really find her attractive ANYWAY we are with 12 people cuz we are in the B class and not in A wich has like 25 maybe? but i heard the classes should merge togheter after summer.

You know, if you want to enjoy your time with them a little more, you could offer to animate effects on their live action films! At least do some sort of test
