| lol @ hitorio's criticism. True as fuck. Seth, you need to be a little more creative with your swordplay. That's too boring. | |

| Onlywatching seems to have readily dismantled Cloud's ass in close combat, but can he withstand a fawking Omnislash, Blade Beam, Finishing Touch, or a fookin' Meteorain? This battle is nowhere near finished. >: D | |

| Onli is not perfect. He's just another animator, like you and me. | |

| i know Tom. but i meant his character. like.... Onli can lose an RHG battle, or any animation contest. but if you won based on whose character would ACTUALLY win in a fight, onli's character would win every time, if you get what i mean. Also i updated my front page, showing the 3 anims i made while my internet was out. | |

Damn, Tom. You fucked up here. The unfittingness of this comment was equivalent to a scene in which everyone orgasms at a Superman fight in outer space and you're like: "but people can't fly." Onli must just be fawkin' GAR. == mmm... I just read my name after the words "inspired by." At first I was surprised that you did some research into my old shit, then I'm like "Oh, right - posted that on FrameMash." ...and you actually animated some skating. Storyboarding an Air Gear 2.0 opening sounds like fun. I was massively disappointed with Air Gear's opening and in-show animation. Given the electric, punk, and hyper feel of the manga, the anime needs Sakuga quality. Badly. The visuals are crackin'. ...but when it came time to animate, the budget limitations churned freshly-made shit unto the production. They literally tweened the skating scenes. Tweened them. *palm* - You don't tween thissssssss:
^ I specifically remember this cut being tweened horribly in an AMV. Geez.
FLCL inspired you to create a groundfight melee? I'd be creatin' city scale, flying, transforming, camera-erratic random schitt of awesomeness if inspired by FLCL. That's what I absorb from it. It's way too not-structured - in an ownage manner. Hm. The boxing - animating one movement fully, then animating the other guy's movement around it. You're still fighting like a stick master. I wonder if, with improvement, you really can get away with this in fullbody. Maybe you'll be something like the Shinya Ohira of Psuda. < : S

| i didnt like the boxing anim as much because of the stick-ness either :\ and in teh FLCL inspired one, it was mostly the weapon... that was inspired. i get bored of doing swords or spears or staves and such. i like creative weapons. such as sticks. and guitars. and rollerBLADES. EDIT: this sint worth putting on the front page... but i like it. http://www.truploader.com/view/664692 | |

| JUST ANIMATE, GODDAMMIT!! - Observant People's Responses:
...so if you've succeeded in the prompt that you've, uh... titularly set for yourself, then you're growing stronger. This. Is. Good. ...Dat beer gut. Lol. Dat deadpan turn towards the audience. Lol. Yo, when you're faced with complicated movements, pump more keyframes into 'dem suns 'a bitches. Keeping the flow of Keyframes monotonous shows disengagement in the motiion. Get in there, Dempsey Roll, and smash the fuk out of those movements. Go hard in the paint with the keyframes that demand it.

| loving the way that character turned out looking sethx, but that trick seemed either to fast or it seemed impossible. I don't really know what trick he did but other then that it was nice. | |

| yeah it was impossible lol. i showed it to my mom and she was like "O.o"
And the design of the character is the same as all my other character designs + a skateboard. black. afro. except hes wearing a school uniform cause the project mostly takes place in the character's school. outside of school he's usually wearing a hoodie n shorts.

| The spin - nice! Too bad you avoided most of the difficult parts of animation with the beginning cut and the lack of physics in that spin. Then again, it still looks pretty tight at first glance - maybe the point was abstraction to some level. I do demand a cooler first cut, though. You linked into a shot of him throwing his skateboard down, about to slay this trick, but the shot before that was a cheap lean. How bout a snap-ish body movement or somethin' cooler than that? Dat Camera Tremor, though.
@Edyrem - nice job at engaging the animation that everyone else seemed to have forgotten about.

| lol Edyrem. thanks. i hardly even tried on the wing animation, but thanks.
@Hitorio i wanted to do an awesome impossible trick, (the spin) so i just kinda.... did it. i wasnt thinking about physics at all because the definition of the trick i wanted to animate was "impossible" and about the cheap lean in the beginning.... actually there's nothing to say about it :/ overall i could've done better... i think. i give myself a C+

| Yo. I imagine that if you work toward becoming a professionally skilled animator, your shots would be among the sexiest. I imagine you as a future Mitsuo Iso of Psuda. ...not to say that we'll all be bound to another's style, but your essence as an animator may be the equivalent. | |

| First thing I noticed, grid ground. Nice stuff, man. Did you get inspired to do it by seeing that dust cloud animation, or what? I oughta start doing it. | |

| uhhh, i think it was from that dust cloud animation, and some raw genga from tetsuwan birdy. but its REALLY helpful on planning out my angles and keeping them fluid and stuff. i freaking love it, and i assume it will be helpful for having backgrounds that aren't .... uhh.... surreal, like my backgrounds usually end up being. (Warped and distorted, no real sense of where the horizon is and whatnot) | |
